| Thallus to 10 cm wide, whitish grey, pale yellowish grey or bluish grey. Lobes 4–10 mm wide, broadly cuneate to flabellate, adjacent or often imbricate, flat or slightly concave, variously notched or incised, lobulate; apices round with deflexed margins. Upper surface distinctly pruinose, without isidia. Lower surface cream; rhizines pale. Apothecia usually present, to 2 mm wide, pale yellow to reddish brown; initials always present, minute, pale, wart-like. Ascospores fusiform, 7–12 × 3–5 µm. | ||
| Extends from Mackay, Qld, S to Kyogle, N.S.W. A palaeotropic-Australian species ranging from the Comoro Islands in the west to Fiji in the east. Grows on bark of various trees in rainforest or moist eucalypt forest. | ||
